SIMPARKING N2/N4 is independent parking system manufactured by SIMMETAL and BAJKMONT which allows parking for two or four vehicles on two levels. Vehicles are placed one above the other with a common driveway position that enables dual utilization of available parking surface.
SIMPARKING parking system is mounted in specially constructed pit with depth from 1, 5 m (back side of the pit) to 1, 55 m (front side of the pit). Parking platforms are horizontal with a horizontal approach and also have anti slip surface.
If the system is in lower position, the lower platform with parked vehicles is placed in the pit, while upper platform is in driveway position which enables the vehicles to descent from platform, and vice versa. Entering the lower level platform is with 8° decrease, while on upper level with 5° climb.
When starting the SIMPARKING system no one is allowed to be on the platform. The system is moving vertically while propulsion is enabled with two hydraulic cylinders that move the platform.
Platforms move simultaneously up and down so vehicles may enter and descend from the platform independently. That allows easy entry and exit of the car and provides easy access to any of the vehicles.
Maximum height for vehicle possible to park on lower level is 1, 5 m, while the upper one depends on the height between entry level and pit ceiling. Minimal height for vehicle 1, 5 m high is 2, 95 m. The vehicle must be parked on the platform to the preset boundary, to avoid damage to the vehicle during the descent into the pit.
Some advantages of this system are low maintenance cost, space savings and possibility of an annual service contract.
SIMPARKING parking system is suitable for standard compact cars. System is intended for private households, residential and commercial buildings, private and underground garages, public parking lots as well as hotels and malls.
SIMPARKING N2/N4 parking system consists of two platforms that are 5 m long and 2, 6 m wide if we are considering N2 system, i.e. 5 m long and 5, 2 m wide in case of N4 system. Both systems have mutual spacing of 1, 53 m between platforms. Standard dimensions allow easy entry and descent from the platform for most compact cars. It is possible to manufacture special platforms on clients request in case of smaller vehicle. The standard capacity of single platform is 2000 kg per parking space (500 kg per wheel). Moving speed of the platform is approximately 0, 04 m/s.
Each platform consists of side walls, beams, longitudinal carriers and platforms drive path. Driving machinery contains an electro-hydraulic installation which consists of hydraulic unit, high pressure reinforced rubber hose, hydraulic seamless pipes, connecting equipment, working cylinders, electromagnet valve, electrical motor and control panel.
Security mechanisms: safety valves against uncontrolled degradation of platform, safety forced draft valves, control unit with a key, STOP button in case of emergency and shaft that equally distributes load as well as levels the platform.
Pit must be secured by investor and reinforced concrete. This space can’t obtain installations or devices that are not part of parking platform equipment. Minimal thickness of the pit plate is 18 cm, while rely panels of column with guide are anchored to the floor to a depth of 10 cm – 12 cm. Pit walls must be resistant from mechanical damage, fire resistant and bottom must be protected against water infiltration.
